Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the AW Morrow Gastroenterology and Liver Centre as a Clinical Research Coordinator. The role combines nursing care with planning, coordination and data management of clinical trials at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Current nursing registration (AHPRA) and knowledge of GCP, privacy laws and regulatory issues are essential. Full working rights in Australia required; position offers temporary full-time and part-time arrangements, up to 12

Qualifications

Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice, privacy laws, regulatory and ethical issues in clinical research.
Use critical thinking to analyse nursing practice to provide safe, appropriate and quality support to trial participants.
Demonstrates strong planning and organisational skills to prioritise and meet deadlines.
All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.

Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered, evidence-informed nursing care within research trials.
Plan, implement, coordinate and manage data for clinical research projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure trial integrity.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with participants.
