Job summary

Healix International in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our APAC Clinical Operations team. The role coordinates medical care for people injured or unwell overseas and supports families through unfamiliar healthcare systems.

This office-based position offers flexible daytime patterns (4 x 10-hour shifts, 8am–8pm) and a path to apply clinical expertise in a global context, with access to Healix Academy for development.

Qualifications

• Basic IT skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a team and with clients.
• Ability to work independently to plan and manage caseload.
• AHPRA Registration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical case management focused on patient wellbeing and satisfaction.
• Provide medical advice and recommendations via telephone and digital communication.
• Liaise with international healthcare providers to coordinate treatment and care plans.
• Assess medical reports and prepare referrals for timely patient care.
• Evaluate local standards of care against international best practice and advise on fitness to travel.
• Arrange medical evacuations and repatriations via commercial airlines when required.
