Job summary
Byron District Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses to join its Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) team on a 14-week contract basis, starting 26 October 2026 through 31 January 2027. Two positions are available in Byron Bay, NSW, delivering care in a specialised inpatient setting focused on mental health and substance use support.
The role requires current AHPRA registration, mental health nursing experience, AOD experience, and VPM competency or willingness to obtain it.
