Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead clinical care in our aged care service in Nowra. You will develop, implement and evaluate individual care plans, and lead a small team delivering high‑quality nursing care.

You’ll conduct thorough clinical assessments, coordinate with medical and allied health professionals, and advocate for residents’ quality of life. National police checks and pre‑employment screening apply.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged or community care or willingness to begin a career in aged care.
• Adaptable, empathetic and able to manage time effectively.
• Commitment to contemporary aged care nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet individual needs.
• Lead clinical services with sharp assessment skills.
• Ensure care meets residents’ individual goals.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents’ family members to advocate forquality of life.
• Supervise and support Personal Care Workers.
• Lead the team with critical decision‑making.
