Job summary

Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team on a Monday–Friday daytime schedule, with no weekends, nights, calls or holidays.

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the RN implements physician orders, ensures continuity and quality of nursing care, and assists in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• CA Registered Nurse license current.
• BLS and ACLS current.
• ASC experience a plus.
• Good communication and human relations skills.
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of perioperative process including knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and provide continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and sterile technique as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostic and Treatment Center:

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director, the Registered nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients'' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications:

Hourly Range: $48- $66(based on experience)

L1-MA1
