Job Description

  • Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care by undertaking assessments, routine procedures and care activities appropriate to the area of practice and within scope.
  • Under the direction of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, plan, prioritise and complete nursing care tasks, demonstrating initiative, sound clinical judgement and accountability for own practice.
  • Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team, including supporting and overseeing Assistants in Nursing and students in the provision of care.
  • Contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and research activities, supporting continuous improvement of patient and service outcomes.

  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A.
