Risk & Compliance Manager | North Sydney | Up to $200k Total Package Inclusive of Super and Bonus

My client is seeking an experienced compliance leader to take ownership of their Operational Compliance function and ensure the business operates with strong risk management, governance, and legal frameworks in place. This is a key leadership role, working closely with Client Services, Commercial, and senior stakeholders to deliver best-practice compliance outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
  • Lead and manage the Operational Compliance team to deliver on KPIs.
  • Oversee risk assessments and contractor onboarding processes, with final approval authority.
  • Manage compliance across contracts, insurance, work rights/immigration, and industrial relations.
  • Partner with internal teams to design and improve compliance systems and processes.
  • Provide strategic advice and proactive solutions on compliance and risk issues.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in compliance, risk, or governance leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of industrial awards, payroll tax compliance, long service leave and STP 2.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong decision-making ability.
