The Star Brisbane is seeking a Risk & Compliance Analyst to strengthen the risk and compliance framework. You will conduct control testing, identify gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve governance and regulatory compliance across the property.

Qualifications

• Stakeholder engagement to gather clear, accurate information.
• Interpret and communicate compliance obligations, including regulations and internal policy.
• Analyse breach data to identify trends and systemic issues needing remediation.
• Conduct structured investigations to identify root causes of failures.
• Prepare clear, accurate governance and reporting documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct control testing and risk assessments to identify gaps.
• Provide practical recommendations to strengthen controls and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and Risk & Compliance team to improve governance.
• Monitor incidents and breaches, supporting regulatory reporting and response.
