Overview

ADS provides professional corporate services to Ministry Units and Diocesan Agencies across the Anglican Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. ADS supports Diocesan mission partners in navigating complex regulatory environments while promoting continuous improvement and administrative efficiency. Our work equips people across the Diocese to engage the world with the love and truth of Jesus.

Your Role

As Risk Advisor, you will lead the development and implementation of risk management frameworks, policy compliance, and reporting systems. You\'ll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to embed a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and maintain risk registers
  • Review and align governance policies with legislation and standards
  • Prepare risk reports and dashboards for Boards and senior leaders
  • Advise on strategic and operational risk implications
  • Deliver training and promote risk awareness across mission partners
  • Support business continuity and crisis management planning
What You\'ll Bring
  • Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or business continuity
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
