Newman Senior High School in Newman, Western Australia, seeks a Rise Up Teacher for a 24-month fixed-term, full-time role commencing Term 1, 2027. The Rise Up Program supports students to rise in attendance, achievement, leadership and community engagement within a framework of Tier 1 Positive Behaviour in Schools.

You will work with the PBS team and classroom teachers to embed practices, lead assemblies, guide personalised pathway planning and foster student leadership and real-world learning

Qualifikationen

• Experience implementing whole-school programs, PBS would be an advantage.
• Holding a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to attain one, would be highly regarded.

Aufgaben

• Embed Tier 1 PBS practices across the school with the Rise Up team.
• Lead whole-school assemblies and promote student leadership.
• Support students in pathway planning and goal setting.
• Create real-world learning opportunities with community groups and volunteering.
• Monitor Rise Up budget and assist with contract deliverables and reporting.
