Job summary

Crossy’s Crane Hire is seeking Operators and Riggers experienced in general hire for local Cairns projects. You may rig, drive trucks and perform a variety of tasks; you must live in Cairns/FNQ to apply. 3–6 month casual trail with potential for permanent placement after the trial.

Minimum requirements include HR Truck license (HC preferred), RI/DG HRWL license, Construction white/blue card, and ability to pass pre-employment drug tests. A positive, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Must hold HR Truck license (HC preferred).
• RI/DG HRWL license is required.
• Construction white/blue card is required.
• Applicants must live in Cairns Qld.
• Must pass pre-employment urine drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Operate cranes and rigging gear on general hire projects.
• Drive trucks and perform rigging tasks as needed.
• Work within a local team on current and upcoming projects.
• Casual 3–6 month trail with potential permanent position after.
