Qualifications

  • Experience with hung scaffolds, including scaffolds hanging from tubes, wire ropes and chains; or suspended scaffolds.
  • Ensure lifting equipment is registered as required.
  • Involved in preparation of lift study plans where required by regulations.

UGL has a current vacancy for a highly skilled and safety focused Advanced Rigger/Scaffolder to join us on one of our major O&G contracts offshore at Bass Strait, VIC.

In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for providing end to end maintenance and service of the offshore platforms

About the Role:
  • Participate and assist in preparing and updating work instructions, procedures, special tool requirements and lifting plans.
  • Adherence to the Lifting Equipment and Operations procedure and requirements.
  • Experience with hung scaffolds, including scaffolds hanging from tubes, wire ropes and chains; or suspended scaffolds
  • Ensure lifting equipment is registered as required.
  • Involved in the preparation of lift study plans where required by regulations and the Clients procedures and following the appropriate risk assessment and documentation requirements as established by State/National regulations and the Clients procedures.
About You:
  • Experience as a Rigger/Scaffolder in an offshore environment
  • Proactively seek to continuously improve performance, deliverables and work efficiencies
  • Preferred. License to Perform Rigging – Advanced Level
  • Drivers License
  • EW P WP – 11m and over certificate
  • Work Safely at Heights certified less than 2 years of currency.
  • Good safety record
