Job summary

Linkforce is seeking experienced Riggers to join our Bowen Basin operation on a casual, ongoing long-term roster (7/7). October start.

You will perform rigging and lifting across CHPP maintenance in a fast-paced, safety‑driven environment, with strict adherence to lifting plans, permit-to-work and isolation procedures. Applicants will hold a High Risk Work Licence RI/RA, CN HRWL, and 12 months rigging experience.

Qualifications

• Holder of High Risk Work Licence RI or RA.
• 12 months rigging experience minimum.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence MR or HR preferred.
• Standard 11 or willingness to obtain.
• Current Coal Board Medical or willingness to obtain.
• BMA Core Inductions or SC Number advantageous.
• Able to work effectively with site management and clients.
• Uncompromising commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Performing complex lifts involving crushers, conveyors, motors, gearboxes and structural components.
• Installing and dismantling rigging equipment including chain blocks, slings and lifting beams.
• Assisting with equipment positioning, alignment and component change-outs.
• Working safely and in accordance with lifting plans, permit-to-work and isolation procedures.
• Complete pre-starts, JHAs and risk assessments.
• Work safely with permit-to-work systems and site requirements.
