Job summary

Clough is delivering EPC upgrades for the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities in partnership with Water Corporation and Jacobs. We are seeking skilled Rigging professionals to commence immediately on this critical project, ensuring safe handling of heavy equipment and adherence to lift plans.

The role requires rigorous safety practices, relevant licenses, and the ability to read lift plans, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression within a leading project delivery

Qualifications

• Hazard recognition and safe rigging practices across heavy loads.
• Familiarity with lift plans and procedures.
• Ability to assess load size, weight and required equipment.
• RB/RI/RA or higher licensing and white/blue cards are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and operate rigging equipment to lift machinery and heavy objects safely.
• Assess loads to determine appropriate rigging gear and lift methods.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipment and PPE.
• Read and follow lift plans and procedures accurately.

Clough is in alliance with the Water Corporation and Jacobs, to deliver the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) for the upgrade of the Woodman Point Sludge Treatment Facilities.

The scope of the project includes upgrading the facility's sludge treatment processing system. This will enable the recovery of biosolids for agricultural use. The solid material, known as biosolids, will be used as a soil conditioner. Another by-product of the sludge treatment process is biogas, which can be used as a source of energy.

Who you are:

Your role will include:

• Install and operate rigging equipment such as chain blocks, slings, pulleys and winches to lift lower, move or position machinery, spools, structural steel and other heavy objects.
• Assess objects to be moved, estimate their size, shape and weight and determine the type of rigging equipment necessary to lift the object safely.
• Inspect and maintain rigging equipmen
• Read, interpret and follow lift plans and procedures.
