Job summary

Harness Energy Services seeks experienced Welders to support drilling rigs across Queensland and remote sites with an immediate start. Roles are ad hoc, mobilising as required, with ongoing opportunities for longer-term positions as assignments arise.

Ideal candidates hold a Welding Trade Qualification, have structural welding experience (MIG/TIG/STICK/FLUX) and are prepared to obtain the listed certificates.

Qualifications

• Valid Welding Trade Qualification and current ticketing.
• Experience with structural welding on platforms or rigs.
• Welding across MIG, TIG, STICK or flux-cored processes.
• Willingness to obtain additional tickets listed by Harness Energy.

Responsibilities

• Weld on drilling rigs and support fabrication tasks.
• Maintain welding quality and on-site safety standards.
• Mobilise to locations as required and report progress to supervisors.

Join the Harness Energy Services Team – Welder Opportunities in Queensland & Northern Territory with an Immediate Start

Harness Energy Services, a Registered Training Organisation and leading provider of Labour Supply to the Oil and Gas sector, is seeking experienced Welders to support various clients within the industry. We have ad hoc opportunities for rig welders in Queensland, with an immediate start to cover operational gaps as they arise.Although the current roles are ad hoc, Harness Energy will continue to work with successful candidates for any longer-term positions as they become available.

Key Details:

• Location:Queensland South Australia, Western Australia & Northern Territory
• Work Type:Ad hoc (Mobilisation as required)
• Role: Welders to support drilling rigs
• Start: Immediate

Ideal Candidate:

• Hold a valid Welding Trade Qualification
• Experience with structural welding - Platforms, MIG TIG STICK FLUX
• Possess or be willing to obtain the following tickets (Harness Energy will assist in obtaining):
  • Certificate III Fabrication Welding
  • Industry Safety Induction (ISI)
  • National Police Clearance (issued within the last 3 months)
  • Working at Heights
  • Undertake First Response to Fire
  • Operate Breathing Apparatus
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Confined Space & Gas Test Atmospheres
  • 4WD – Operate Vehicles in the Field
  • IWCF Level 1
