Gravity Resources is seeking an experienced Rig Mechanic to join its well servicing team supporting modern truck-mounted service rigs across the Australian onshore oil & gas sector. Based from Wellcamp, Toowoomba, you will provide mechanical maintenance support across the rig fleet, with regular travel to field locations as required.
A company vehicle will be provided for travel from Wellcamp, with accommodation and meals covered while working away.
Formación
- Trade qualified or equivalent in diesel fitting or related trade.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with drilling or well servicing rigs.
- Strong hydraulic maintenance experience.
- Experience with heavy mobile plant and equipment.
- Electrical/instrumentation knowledge advantageous.
- PLC experience highly regarded.
- Confined Space, Working at Heights and Breathing Apparatus tickets desirable.
- Reliable, proactive and safety-focused approach.
Responsabilidades
- Provide mechanical support and repairs across the well servicing fleet
- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance on rigs, vehicles and plant
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues
- Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and inspection schedules
- Prioritise and manage maintenance work orders
- Provide technical support to field crews and assist with troubleshooting
- Travel to operational sites as required
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operating procedures
