Job summary

Queensland Health's Redcliffe Hospital is seeking a Staff Specialist in Rheumatology to deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient care within the Medicine Service Line. The role focuses on expert consultations, joint aspiration and injection services, and active participation in teaching and clinical governance.

You will engage in research programs on SLE and scleroderma, supervise junior medical staff, and contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives across Metro

Qualifications

• Provide specialist rheumatology inpatient and outpatient services to patients at Redcliffe Hospital.
• Deliver a joint aspiration and injection service.
• Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, junior doctor supervision and registrar training programs.
• Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement activities, audits and multidisciplinary committees.
• Support and contribute to rheumatology research activities, including SLE and scleroderma research programs.
