Job summary

The Canberra Health Services Rheumatology Unit is seeking a Staff Specialist / Senior Staff Specialist to deliver inpatient, outpatient and consultative rheumatology care for ACT and surrounding NSW regions. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide timely, efficient services within a tertiary hospital setting.

The successful candidate will contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, education, research and teaching, with potential for conjoint ANU academic

Qualifications

• Holds Specialist registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Credentialing with MDAAC endorsed scope of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient, outpatient and consultative rheumatology services.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team to deliver timely and person-centred care.
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality assurance, education, research and teaching.
• Meet credentialing and professional standards as required.
