Job summary

Arriba Group invites applications for a Rehabilitation Consultant – Psychologist or Rehabilitation Counsellor in Newcastle, NSW. This permanent, full‑time role focuses on facilitating return to work and case managing complex files with health professionals, employers and insurers to achieve positive client outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling (Masters for psychology applicants) and be registered with AHPRA or ASORC,

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology.
• Registration with AHPRA or ASORC.
• Passionate about helping people navigate complex rehabilitation plans.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assessments and counselling to people facing sudden changes in career goals and circumstances.
• Conduct assessments to guide clients toward new career paths.
• Collaborate with health professionals, employers, insurers and other stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
• Identify Return to Work barriers and design and monitor programs to aid reintegration.
• Visit workplaces to educate employers on health benefits of good work.
