Job summary

The Reject Shop is seeking a Team Member at our Mt Druitt store to support day-to-day operations and help create a great shopper experience.

You’ll assist customers, refill shelves, keep the store clean and safe, and work across different areas as part of a supportive team. Training is provided, with flexible shifts to fit study or other commitments.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willing to learn store routines and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

The Role

As a Team Member, you’ll help support the day-to-day running of the store and create a great experience for customers.

You’ll:

• Serve customers and support busy trade periods
• Refill shelves and move stock around the store
• Keep the store clean, organised and safe
• Work across different areas of the store as part of the team
• Learn retail routines, processes and store standards

This is a hands-on, physical role where you’ll be on your feet and may lift up to 16kg safely as part of normal store duties.

• Are available during busy retail trading periods including afternoons, evenings and weekends

Our busiest trading periods are typically:

• From 3:30pm onwards on weekdays
• Thursday or Friday night trade from 3:30pm to 9:00pm
• School holidays and public holidays

No retail experience is needed. Many of our Team Members are starting their first retail role and we provide training and support from day one.
