Job summary

EcoCycle Group in Melbourne is seeking a Business Development Executive to expand our retail client base and build strategic partnerships across ANZ. Based from Campbellfield head office, you will hunter for new opportunities with national retailers, franchise groups, supermarkets, and multi-site operators to deliver practical recycling programs.

Qualifications

• Proven success in business development and account management.
• Experience winning new business and developing customer relationships.
• Strong consultative selling and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience selling into retail, facilities management or related sectors.
• Ability to engage with procurement, sustainability, operations and executive stakeholders.
• Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
• Experience managing a structured sales pipeline and CRM activity.
• Familiarity with sustainability initiatives and ESG programs is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the retail sector
• Build relationships with national retailers, franchise groups and multi-site organisations
• Promote EcoCycle Group's market-leading recycling and resource recovery solutions
• Engage retailers looking to strengthen ESG, sustainability and circular economy initiatives
• Conduct customer meetings, presentations, site visits and solution workshops
• Develop tailored proposals and service agreements
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development activity
• Grow ANZ and multi-site customer accounts
• Work closely with operational teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
• Represent EcoCycle at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities
