Job summary

Baby Bunting in Australia is seeking a Storeroom Assistant to keep stock flow smooth behind the scenes, from unpacking to shelving and preparing deliveries. You’ll work with a friendly team in a busy retail storeroom, supporting sales floor operations and ensuring stock integrity.

If you have 2–3 years in a retail storeroom, good customer service, and can operate pallets and walkie stackers, you’ll fit in. Training will be provided, and there are great benefits and pathways for growth.

Qualifications

• Retail storeroom experience, 2–3 years preferred
• Customer service experience desirable
• Ability to operate storeroom machinery (training provided)
• Proactive, unsupervised work style
• Proficiency with inventory management software and POS systems
• Physical ability to lift up to 15kg carry items and 45kg with assistance

Responsibilities

• Stock Management: unpack, label and organize merchandise
• Delivery Processing: receive and process deliveries with accuracy
• Equipment Handling: operate pallet jack, walkie stacker and trolley
• Record Keeping: use goods register for inbound/outbound stock
• Customer Support: assist customers with pickups of purchases
• Store Maintenance: maintain stockroom and floor standards
