Job summary

Baby Bunting, Australia’s largest nursery retailer, is seeking a Storeroom Assistant for our Toowoomba store on Ruthven Street. This permanent part-time role focuses on stock integrity and back‑of‑house operations to keep the sales floor well stocked.

You’ll unpack deliveries, label merchandise, operate equipment like pallet jacks and walkie stackers, and maintain accurate records. A friendly, proactive team player who can work unsupervised will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail storeroom is preferred but not essential.
• Customer service experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate machinery such as Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, WAVe, and trolley; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 15kg between floor and shoulder, 10kg above shoulder height; 45kg with assistance.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, label, and organise merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner.
• Receive and process deliveries, ensuring item and quantity accuracy.
• Operate Pallet Jack, Walkie Stacker, WAVe, and trolley.
• Use Inwards/Outwards Goods Register for stock movement.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist pickups of purchased items.
• Maintain store floor and stockroom standards.
