Job summary

Morning Market, Melbourne, is seeking seasoned leaders to oversee day-to-day store operations and to uphold a positive working culture. You will guide teams in a busy retail and hospitality setting, driven by customer experience and product knowledge, with autonomy and support from management.

You will be a hands-on leader, mentoring staff, defining procedures, and championing Morning Market’s range of fresh produce, baked goods, and specialty items in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a retail or hospitality environment.
• Proven success, rigour and humility in management.
• Autonomy over procedures with support from managers.
• Strong customer service mindset and energy for a dynamic store.

Responsibilities

• Lead established teams to deliver high quality customer experiences.

Morning Market is seeking strong leaders to expand and uphold a positive working culture and oversee all aspects of the day-to-day running of the store. Applicants will have experience leading a team in a retail and / or hospitality environment, with proven success, rigour and humility.

Morning Market is a collection of neighbourhood corner stores, inspired by the celebrated food markets of Europe. Fresh-cut local flowers, sourdough bread and pastries are available daily, alongside a considered range of intricate baked goods, salads and sandwiches from our Kitchen, and Single O coffee. Quality groceries for every day range from local dairy and deli provisions, to the treasured condiments and essentials of a Chef's pantry. A concise selection of beverages from the venerable wine lists of Trader House restaurants offers the chance to enjoy some of the world’s most exciting wines, beers and spirits at home. Our range is complimented by hand-selected homewares from artisans across the globe.
