Job summary

ALDI Store Assistant role in NSW/ Newcastle-Maitland region. No retail know-how needed; bring a positive attitude and a will to learn. Stores open daily; you’ll experience all areas of the store with variety.

As a Store Assistant you will help customers, stock shelves, manage pricing, set up displays, and keep the store tidy. We offer extensive training and a permanent part-time role with good leave entitlements and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic required.
• No retail know-how needed; willingness to learn.
• Weekend availability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Being a customer service superstar and serving customers at the registers with a smile.
• Keeping shelves stocked with products so that our customers can find all their favourites.
• Being an expert in stock handling by making sure our products are in date and listed at the right price.
• Creating eye-catching displays of our ALDI special buys.
• Keeping the store tidy, organised and looking great.
