Job summary

Pillow Talk Australia is seeking a Casual Retail Sales Assistant for our Warrnambool store. You will be at the heart of delivering an outstanding in-store experience, helping customers find the perfect homeware and coordinating with stock, with potential progression to a permanent part-time role based on performance.

The role requires a customer-centric mindset, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible weekday/weekend shifts, including Fridays.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-centric, KPI-driven retail environment.
• Experience assisting with stock receival and stock allocation.
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Now is your opportunity to be part of the Pillow Talk Fabric, by joining us in this highly exciting Casual Retail Sales Assistant role at our Warrnambool store! We are looking for brand ambassadors who are customer-centric, effervescent and adaptable, with a passion for ensuring our customers receive an outstanding in-store experience each and every time they visit. While this role starts as casual, we are looking for someone who is committed to growing with us, with the potential to transition into a permanent part-time position in the future, subject to performance and business needs. You'll be motivated by achieving sales and KPI goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

A bit about you...

• Experience working in a customer-centric, KPI driven retail environment with proven exposure to customer service
• Ability to assist with stock receival, ensuring products are unpacked in a timely manner and allocated appropriately to either refill the floor or restock the storeroom
• Shows commitment to every customer and makes a conscious effort to improve their in-store experience
• Highly personable and confident individual who has an outstanding ability to develop interpersonal relationships with customers and colleagues
• Consultative selling experience with proven ability to find the right products for our customers
• Ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities
• Highly creative with a keen eye for detail
• Great listening and problem-solving skills
