Job summary

The Retail Odyssey Company, part of Advantage Solutions, is seeking a motivated in-store merchandising assistant in Australia. You will build displays, reset shelves, rotate products, and help track inventory to maximize sales opportunities. You will also support leadership with reporting, training, scheduling, and onboarding new hires.

We value customer service, teamwork, and reliability. You must be 18+, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, and have reliable transport to the store location.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years merchandising experience.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation to work location.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, About You

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Have 1-2 years of merchandising experience
• Have experience leading and training people
• Can use your smartphone or tablet to record work after each shift
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
