Job summary

atomica, part of Wesfarmers Health, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our beauty-focused team across our Australian stores. You’ll inspire exceptional customer service, coach your team and drive stunning in-store experiences.

With a passion for cosmetics and skincare, you’ll manage rosters, training, and performance metrics in a fast-paced setting, delivering on budgets and shaping a glow-driven shopping journey.

Qualifications

• An experienced, supportive and inspirational leader with at least 5 years of similar experience.
• Strong retail experience, especially in beauty, in a large, fast-paced environment.
• Genuine passion for cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and beauty.
• Excellent communication skills to connect with customers and team members.
• Commercially minded with proven budget-management experience.
• Sales- and metrics-focused; rostering experience within EBA & GRIA frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front to inspire your team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Provide training, mentoring and regular feedback to develop staff.
• Guide the team in applying product knowledge to assist customers.

About the role:

Our Retail Managers are the true stars of our brand! They’re customer service pros who know how to make people feel welcome, inspired, and ready to glow. Every day, you’ll motivate your team to create one-of-a-kind experiences for our customers, making them feel amazing. With your love for beauty, skincare, and wellbeing, you'll lead from the front, giving your team all the tools they need through fun training, mentoring, and feedback to help them succeed. You’ll guide them in using their knowledge and skills to help our customers glow, inside and out!

What we’re looking for:

• An experienced, supportive and inspirational leader, with at least 5 years of similar experience
• Someone with exceptional retail experience, particularly in beauty (who loves leading teams that enjoy providing great customer service) and in a large, faced paced retail environment
• A genuine passion for cosmetics, skincare, fragrance and beauty
• Great communication skills (so you can form genuine connections with customers and our team members)
• Commercially minded and proven experience in meeting budget requirements
• Sales and metric focussed
• Experience with rostering & working within EBA & GRIA frameworks
