Job summary

United Pieface Breadalbane is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to oversee the service station, convenience store and Pie Face outlet in Western Junction TAS. You will manage stock, staff, customer service and ensure safety and service standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, rostering, training and cash handling, with a salary of AU$79,000–AU$85,000 plus 12% superannuation. Full-time, 38 hours per week at 1 Translink Ave, Western Junction TAS.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management (preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of service station, convenience store and Pie Face outlet.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to minimise wastage.
• Supervise, roster and train staff; monitor performance.
• Assist customers with fuel, groceries and Pie Face offerings while maintaining service standards.

United Pieface Breadalbane is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our service station, convenience store and Pie Face food outlet. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining efficient retail operations, managing stock and staff, supporting customer service, and ensuring the store consistently meets operational, safety and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the service station, convenience store and Pie Face outlet, ensuring efficient and consistent service.
• Monitor fuel, convenience and food product stock levels, coordinate replenishment and minimise wastage.
• Supervise, roster and support staff, including training new employees and monitoring performance.
• Assist customers with fuel, convenience products and Pie Face food offerings while maintaining high customer service standards.
• Monitor sales, cash handling, stock records and daily financial transactions.
• Coordinate ordering and merchandising of fuel, grocery, beverage, food and other retail products.
• Ensure the store, food preparation areas and customer facilities are clean, safe and presented to required standards.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and relevant retail and service station procedures..

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality Management (preferred but not required)
• Minimum 1 year experience in retail management or a similar supervisory retail position.

• Strong staff supervision, customer service and organisational skills.
• Experience with stock control, ordering, cash handling and retail operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing operational priorities.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety and food-handling requirements.

Salary: $79,000 - $85,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation.

Hours: 38 hours per week.
