Job summary

Kryolan Australia Pty in Sydney's Darlinghurst Pro Store is seeking a part-time Beauty Advisor / Retail Makeup Artist. You will provide expert in-store consultations, product recommendations, and retail sales while applying makeup and offering hairstyling services.

You'll work 2-5 shifts per week (including Saturdays), stay current with product knowledge, drive store KPIs through exceptional service, and have opportunities for progression to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Proven professional makeup skills (Glamour, SFX, Beauty, and Hairstyling experience are a plus).
• A positive, bubbly personality with excellent relationship-building skills.
• Previous retail experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry is highly desirable.

Kryolan Sydney Darlinghurst Pro Store is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Beauty Advisor / Retail Makeup Artist. This diverse and exciting role offers the opportunity to work with world-renowned professional brands and build meaningful customer relationships.

What You’ll Do:

Provide expert in-store consultations, product recommendations, and retail sales

Apply makeup including hairstyling services and conduct makeup lessons for clients

Stay up-to‑date with product knowledge and industry trends

To Succeed in This Role, You Will Need:

At least 2-3 years of customer service experience

Proven professional makeup skills (Glamour, SFX, Beauty, and Hairstyling experience are a plus!)

A positive, bubbly personality with excellent relationship‑building skills

Previous retail experience in the cosmetics or beauty industry is highly desirable

A genuine passion for makeup and skincare

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with people from diverse backgrounds

Reliability, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic
