Job summary

ALDI Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and inspire a team to perform at their best.

As part of the store leadership, you support the Store Manager, rostering, reporting, and delivering exceptional service. The role includes training future leaders, managing stock, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and stepping in when the Store Manager is away.

• Experience leading teams in a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication to inspire teammates and delight customers.
• Ability to train, motivate and coach staff to perform their best.
• Support Store Manager to achieve store results.
• Professional and responsible approach in every situation.
• Ability to independently implement ALDI policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next generation of leaders through training and coaching.
• Keep the store clean, safe, and compliant with standards.
• Manage stock, inventory, and loss prevention.
• Work with the team on registers, shelf replenishment and merchandising.
• Identify opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure smooth operation and high customer satisfaction.
• Step in to run the store when the Store Manager is on leave.
