Job summary

Cogitare Limited Chargrill Charlie's is seeking a hands-on Retail Manager to oversee kitchen operations, prepared-food production, catering and retail food service management. You will lead a team, manage stock, ensure food quality and deliver exceptional customer service in a full-time role.

The position requires flexibility for varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays, with a competitive salary and superannuation.

Qualifications

• Diploma-level qualification or higher in Hospitality Management, Commercial Cookery, Business Management, Retail Management or closely related discipline.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience in retail food service management or a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen operations, food preparation and catering activities.
• Lead and develop kitchen and retail teams.
• Monitor stock levels, costs and inventory variances to improve profitability.
• Plan daily store operations and scheduling with the other Retail Manager.
• Maintain high standards of store presentation, product availability, food quality and customer service.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of ingredients and catering supplies.
• Plan catering orders and production schedules to meet demand.
• Ensure food safety compliance and quality assurance across all sites.
