Job summary

Metcash is seeking a Retail Implementation Specialist to coordinate store development projects with retailers, internal teams, and external partners across SA and NT. The role involves supporting openings, refurbishments, and store upgrades, and partnering on layouts, merchandising, and format changes.

Office-based with flexible working and regular travel; strong stakeholder management and communication skills are essential, along with project coordination experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in supermarket, retail operations, or store management.
• Knowledge of merchandising, ranging, and category management.
• Experience delivering store fit-outs, refurbishments, or retail improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate store development projects with retailers, internal teams, and external partners
• Deliver successful delivery of new store openings, refurbishments, and store upgrades
• Partner with retailers to optimise store layouts, merchandising strategies, and format changes
• Drive the implementation of planograms, ranging initiatives, and category improvements
• Provide recommendations on equipment upgrades and opportunities to enhance store performance
• Oversee the delivery of store signage, branding, merchandising materials, and in-store collateral
