Job summary

Seed Heritage is seeking an Assistant Manager for our Spencer Street Store to lead a passionate team and deliver an elevated shopping experience. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop staff, and maintain stock integrity in a fast-paced environment.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll mentor teammates, optimise rosters, and ensure daily operations run smoothly while upholding Seed Heritage’s brand standards and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in fast-paced retail.
• Strong customer service and mentoring skills.
• Ability to drive sales while managing payroll and budgets.
• Interest in fashion retail and styling/VM.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to lead the team and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Support training, mentoring and collaboration across staff.
• Work with leadership to drive a profitable store performance.
• Motivate staff to meet sales targets and KPIs.
• Oversee rosters and back-of-house administration.
• Roster from Sunday to Thursday.

Work with the Store Manager to deliver an elevated customer experience by demonstrating a sophisticated approach to sales, product knowledge and building long-lasting relationships.

THE ROLE:

• Assist with driving a customer-focused culture, creating a memorable and seamless experience with every interaction.
• Support the Store Manager to engage and empower the team through ongoing training, mentoring and collaboration.
• Work with leadership to build an effective and profitable store.
• Motivate the team to meet sales targets and business key performance indicators.
• Support with driving operational excellence, managing rosters and preparing back-of-house administration.
• Sunday to Thursday roster.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role in a fast-paced high volume fashion retail store.
• A supportive leader with the ability to motivate and mentor a team to achieve success.
• Demonstrated commercial acumen with an ability to exceed sales, wages and shrinkage KPI's and in line with budgets.
• An eye for detail, with a passion for styling and Visual Merchandising.
• Exposure to large stock volumes and stock management.
• A genuine desire to be part of Seed Heritage and alignment with our values
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service
