Job summary

Hanaro Mart is looking for a Retail Assistant to join the team at Penrith and Mt Druitt stores. You will provide excellent customer service, receive and display stock, and support the daily operation of the store.

Location: 585 High St, Penrith NSW 2750. The role involves working on the shop floor, handling stock, and helping maintain an attractive store presentation.

Qualifications

• Be reliable, punctual and responsible.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Be friendly and confident when assisting customers.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Be physically capable of standing for extended periods and safely lifting and moving stock.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Operate the checkout and process customer payments accurately
• Receive deliveries and check stock quantities and condition
• Report damaged, missing or incorrect stock to the Store Manager
• Refill shelves and ensure products are displayed correctly
• Check product prices, expiry dates and stock rotation
• Follow food safety, workplace health and safety, and company procedures
• Support other team members and complete reasonable duties assigned by the Store Manager
