Job summary

Zambrero Tamworth is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to help lead our casual team in delivering fast, fresh Mexican food with a smile. You will support the Restaurant Manager in upholding guest experience, culture, and financial results at our Tamworth location.

Qualifications

Customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced setting.
People management skills for rostering, training and performance feedback.

Responsibilities

Leading the restaurant team in efficient day to day operations
Assisting in managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues including grievances
Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
