Job summary

Sofitel Sydney Wentworth is inviting a Restaurant Supervisor to lead daily operations at Tilda, supporting Managers and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

This hands-on leadership role requires taking ownership on the floor, coaching the team and ensuring service excellence across shifts, with a focus on menu knowledge and premium hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or premium hospitality environment with supervisory or senior waiter experience.
• Strong understanding of restaurant operations and sequence of service.
• Confident communication and leadership skills to guide and motivate a team.
• Genuine passion for food, wine and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail, remaining composed during busy services.
• Experience with POS and reservation systems; Oracle Simphony and SevenRooms are ideal but not essential.
• NSW RSA competency card.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Job Description

As Restaurant Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of Tilda, supporting Managers, and delivering exceptional service and guest experiences.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone ready to take the next step, take greater ownership on the floor and help bring out the best in the team.

• Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to remain composed during busy services.
• Confidence using POS and reservation systems, with experience in Oracle Simphony and SevenRooms ideal but not essential.
• A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) competency card.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
