Job summary

Chickenshop holdings PTY LTD in Bangalow, NSW, is seeking a hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations and shape a new local institution. You will recruit and train a team, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

You will work closely with owners in a flat structure to influence culture and systems from day one, with scope to grow the concept to other communities as it succeeds.

Qualifications

• Five years’ hospitality experience including restaurant-management or supervisory responsibilities.
• Ability to lead and develop a team to deliver memorable customer experiences.
• Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
• Understanding of cost control, scheduling and safety standards.
• Alignment with local community and mission.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house during service to ensure smooth operations.
• Recruit, train, roster and develop the team.
• Maintain food quality, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage customer feedback and complaints.
• Oversee stock, suppliers, cash and daily operations.
• Monitor sales, labour, costs and waste.
• Ensure dine-in, takeaway and catering orders run efficiently.
• Improve systems and resolve problems.
• Maintain regulatory compliance.
• Report results and opportunities to owners.
