Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) seeks a Respiratory Consultant to deliver high-quality specialist respiratory and general medicine care at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will supervise trainees, perform respiratory procedures, and collaborate with hospital and community teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

The role offers opportunities for teaching, research, and involvement in service improvement, with a temporary part-time arrangement of 18.75 hours per week.

Competenze

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Specialist registration eligibility required.
• Bring respiratory practice and procedural skills.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and teams.
• Supervise and teach staff, with an interest in research.
• Specialist registration must be with the Medical Board of Australia, or another SA Medical Officers Award recognised qualification.
• Postgraduate or sleep medicine qualifications and respiratory research experience are desirable.

• Total indicative remuneration salary MD2 $366,927 to $490,911 p.a. (adjusted to actual hours worked) + salary sacrifice benefits

About the Role

Bring your respiratory expertise to The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Deliver high quality specialist care and respiratory procedures, support the next generation of clinicians and contribute to research within a collaborative Heart and Lung team.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold an MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Hold specialist qualifications and be eligible for specialist registration.
• Bring respiratory practice and procedural skills.
• Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues and teams.
• Supervise and teach staff, with an interest in research.
• Specialist registration must be with the Medical Board of Australia, or you must hold another qualification recognised under the SA Medical Officers Award.
• Postgraduate or sleep medicine qualifications and respiratory research experience are desirable.
