Job summary

Anne E Clarke Solicitor, an established boutique law practice in Summer Hill, seeks a Property Conveyancer/Lawyer to handle residential conveyancing from instruction to settlement. You will work closely with a small team, manage files, liaise with clients and agents, and participate in more complex matters as your experience grows.

This full-time role offers independent responsibility with support from an experienced solicitor when needed, in a professional but friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in NSW residential conveyancing.
• Ability to manage a conveyancing file from instruction through to settlement.
• Experience with PEXA.
• Strong understanding of NSW conveyancing practice and procedures.
• Organised, reliable and detail-oriented.
• Professional communication with clients.
• Able to work independently within a small team.
• Interest in property and quality legal service.

Responsibilities

• Residential purchases and sales.
• Contract reviews and advice.
• Preparation and management of conveyancing files.
• Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, banks and other solicitors.
• Managing pre-settlement and settlement requirements.
• Electronic settlements through PEXA.
• Dealing with requisitions, adjustments and settlement issues.
• Providing clients with clear and practical updates throughout their transaction.
• General property and conveyancing matters.
