Job summary

Alchemy Recruitment Consulting is seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor for a mining operation in Mount Isa. This permanent, full-time residential role reports to the Health & Injury Management Superintendent and focuses on workplace injury guidance, return-to-work programs, and coordinated care with health providers.

You will lead health strategies to reduce risk, promote early intervention and improve workforce wellbeing in a heavy industry setting, with a strong emphasis on

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace rehabilitation, injury management or occupational health.
• Allied health background (e.g. Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse, Exercise Physiologist).
• Strong knowledge of Queensland Workers Compensation Legislation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on workplace injury, rehabilitation, and proactive health initiatives.
• Support and manage return-to-work programs in compliance with QLD legislation.
• Liaise with allied health professionals and medical providers to ensure coordinated care.
• Develop and implement workplace health strategies to reduce risk and improve outcomes.
• Drive early intervention and health promotion efforts across the workforce.
