Job summary

The Newman Operations team at BHP is seeking experienced individuals to join our Fixed Plant Processing Team. You will operate heavy machinery on the Coarse Ore Stockpile and Train Loadout, ensuring safe, reliable ore flow and alignment with Ore for Rail targets.

Residential roles on an even-time roster involve day and night shifts; you will work in collaborative, diverse teams and contribute to safe operations while maintaining stockpile integrity and efficient processing within the WAIO supply

• Operational competency with heavy equipment on ore stockpiles.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate all machinery associated with COS and TLO stockpile activities.
• Maintain stable and consistent ore flow into the working chutes.
• Safely push and manage stockpiles to maintain space and optimise product flow.
• Maintain a safe and compliant stockpile profile at all times.
• Effectively manage water pooling and general stockpile conditions.
