SA Health's Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is seeking a Direct Care Worker (Residential) for Miroma Hostel in Cummins to provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, support wellbeing and independence, and help create a safe, welcoming home in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

This casual pool covers a seven-day roster, with shifts across WHD3 and WHD4 levels; AQF Certificate III is required for WHD4.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
• Caring and respectful approach to supporting older people.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilités

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support residents' wellbeing and independence through meaningful activities.
• Observe changes in residents’ condition and document care procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow safe work practices.
