Job summary

Land Based is seeking Experienced cleaners to join its team on a long-term basis. The role runs Monday to Friday with a minimum of 32 hours per week across 4–5 days. You will work in teams of two, performing fast-paced cleans for high-end residences and some offices.

Candidates should have 1+ year cleaning experience (Airbnb/hotels/resorts or yachts), be physically fit, and hold a Queensland Driver’s Licence with Australian working rights. Police checks are required.

Responsibilities

• Clean 3–4 sites per day in teams of two.
• Shift starts between 6:00 and 7:30; finishes ~15:00.
• Perform mopping, vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, windows and some laundry/housekeeping.
• Support high-end residential homes and occasional offices.

Experienced Cleaners required – Weekly Pay

Land Based is looking for Experienced cleaners to join its team.

We are looking for long term committed team members only.

The role is Monday - Friday.

32 hours per week minimum required over 4-5 days.

Pay Rates

• $33+ per hour plus superannuation for casual work training to become a team leader.
• Full Time Contract Team Leader starting at $64K plus Superannuation including paid holidays, sick leave, etc after a probation period.

You would complete 3 to 4 cleans per day, averaging 7.5 to 8.5 hours per day in teams of two. This is fast paced cleaning. Cleans start between 6am and 7.30am each day and generally finishes by 3pm

We clean very high end residential homes and some offices so a Police Check is required. Each clean covers mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning multiple bathrooms, some windows and outside cleaning, and laundry/house keeping/bed making. You need to be able to get to your first job of the day and bring a strong work ethic and commitment to quality, we’ll train and support the rest.

Cleaner Requirements

• 1+ years of cleaning experience required cleaning Air BnB/housekeeping in hotels or resorts, residential homes or have super yacht experience
• Ironing experience is a HUGE bonus
• Must speak FLUENT English
• Confident communicator and natural leader
• Must have initiative and support team performance
• Willing to grow, learn and succeed and support the goals of the business
• Must be physically fit, detail-focused, and have a positive attitude
• Must have a valid Queensland Drivers Licence.
• Have working rights in Australia and be willing to commit for long term
• On the Job Training for 3-4 weeks as a casual cleaner is required to learn cleaning runs and product knowledge required.
