Akron Group NT is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and renovation works across government-owned residential properties in the Northern Territory. Join a growing team focused on safety, quality, and client outcomes.

Responsibilities include carpentry, reading plans, and ensuring works meet codes and safety standards. White Card and relevant licences required; ability to work autonomously and in a team environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Carpentry or equivalent.
• Residential carpentry experience in maintenance and renovation.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret job requirements.
• Current White Card and relevant licences.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out carpentry works including repairs, renovations, fit-outs and upgrades to residential buildings.
• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and job specifications to complete tasks accurately.
• Cutting, shaping and installing materials such as timber, frames, windows, doors, fixtures and joinery.
• Performing R&M tasks such as fixing damaged structures, replacing worn components, and ensuring finishes meet quality standards.
• Ensuring all work complies with building codes, safety standards and government policies.
• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite, including appropriate documentation and reporting.
