Qualifications

• Australian-recognised carpentry qualification or apprenticeship completed
• Experience in residential carpentry and cabinet making
• Knowledge of NSW building codes and compliance
• Ability to read architectural drawings and technical plans
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork on-site
• Reliable transport and driver's license

Responsibilities

• Construct, install and finish timber frames and components to specification
• Read and interpret architectural drawings, building plans and technical specifications
• Measure, cut and shape timber using hand and power tools
• Install doors, windows, flooring, staircases, cabinetry and fixtures
• Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations and quality standards
• Prepare project timelines and coordinate with other trades on site
• Maintain a safe and organised work environment on site
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality meets company standards
• Communicate effectively with clients, supervisors and other trades to manage expectations
