Overview

The Opportunity: At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues.

This role based at our newly built Churchill facility in South Australia will see you working Monday to Friday, working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers.

About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.

In addition, you will also have:

  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care), however given the nature of the role working across resident lifestyle activities a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health is also eligible.
  • Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector (or willingness to obtain)
  • Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
  • Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.

  • Display a positive, fun and confident personality to help our residents who sometime can be very shy to get involved in lifestyle and group activities.

Our care roles are busy! Alot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely. All candidates will be required to complete an online medical assessment to maintain personal and workplace safety standards.
