Job summary

Northern Beaches Council is seeking a reliable Team Member to join the Reserves & Sportsfield team. Based in our open spaces across the Northern Beaches, you will safely operate sports field and reserves maintenance equipment and deliver planned and reactive maintenance of open spaces.

You’ll need a Certificate II or III in Horticulture (turf) or equivalent experience, plus energy and a can-do attitude to maintain beaches, reserves and sporting fields with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Certificate II or III in Horticulture (turf) or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated energy and a can-do attitude for outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sports field and reserves maintenance equipment.
• Deliver planned and reactive open space maintenance independently or in a team.
• Support maintenance of parks, sportsfields and related assets.
