Job description

Mamasita is Melbourne's original high-energy Mexican restaurant located in the heart of the CBD. Think slow-braised proteins, hand-pressed tacos, the best margaritas and a high-energy vibe looking after 200-400 guests each day.

Since 2009 we have been serving up fun, elevated Mexican street food, cocktails and epic vibes across 7 days of the week - looking after every guest like they are regulars, and regulars like they are family!

Our restaurant is 70% reservations-based, and we're looking for a full-time Reservations & Admin Coordinator to skilfully turn all phone calls and emails into confirmed bookings to maximise bookings, and deliver an outstanding first impression. You'll also support the Owner with operations support and general administrative assistance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience in handling booking enquiries - our team often come from hotel, events or professional restaurant group backgrounds
  • Experience in reservations coordination/management - preferably in SevenRooms or a similar booking system, and a love of maximising guest bookings and experience
  • Experience and proven skill in general administration
  • The ability to multitask well - juggling phone calls, emails and administrative tasks without dropping the ball or any level of quality or detail
  • The ability to work autonomously to a high level of professionalism and output to set our restaurant team up for success - taking ownership and pride in your important contribution to our busy restaurant
  • An obsessive level of professionalism, detail and organisation
  • Outgoing personality and excellent verbal and written communication ability - leaving every interaction memorable for our guests

What we offer you:
