Job summary

Based in Hobart, you will work with the Cancer and Genomics Theme, ensure GCP-compliant processing, accurate records, and effective communication with the laboratory team.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a clinical setting and phlebotomy expertise.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; self-directed.
• Strong record-keeping and data confidentiality.
• Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the recruitment process by informing potential participants and obtaining informed consent.
• Collect blood samples from study participants following established protocols.
• Process collected blood samples promptly and accurately with proper labeling and cataloguing (GCP-compliant).
• Maintain precise records of consent, sample processing, and participant information.
• Collaborate with the lab team to ensure clear communication of study requirements and timelines.
